Privacy policy pursuant to Section 13 of (EU) Regulation no. 2016/679 (the so-called “GDPR”)

Pursuant to Article 13 of (EU) Regulation no. 2016/679 (the so-called “GDPR”), this privacy policy describes the methods used to manage the website in relation to the processing of personal data of people getting in contact with us through the website. Why do we process your personal data?

The personal data we receive from people getting in contact with us through the website, by means of a request of information regarding a specific topic or requiring the subscription to our newsletter or for receiving corporate press releases or updated on Shareholders’ Meetings, are used for the sole scope of timely providing the information or periodic updates requested.

The legal basis under which your personal data will be processed are:

·         your free, specific, informed and unequivocal consent (pursuant to Section 6, paragraph 1, letter a), GDPR), in relation to the subscription to our newsletter or for receiving corporate press releases or updated on Shareholders’ Meetings;

·         your direct request (pursuant to Section 6, paragraph 1, letter b), GDPR) to manage and develop questions and requests for interaction with Amplifon.

Which type of information is collected from you?

We receive and keep the personal data you enter in the appropriate form within our website or the information you provide us while you navigate the website. You can choose not to provide personal data, but by doing so you may not be able to receive the requested services. For the correct functioning of the website, some informatic systems which, for their normal functioning, automatically collect some information, directly connected to the usage of the informatic protocols are used.

Such information may regard, by means of example: IP address, type of browser used, ISP, operating system, name of the domain and address of the website from which access or exit was made (referring/exit pages), information on the pages visited within the website, time of access, time spent on every page, analysis of the navigation path, etc. Such data are used only to retrieve statistical anonymous data on the usage of the website, to control its correct functioning, and are memorized for the strict timeframe necessary for the technical scope for which they are collected. For how long will your personal data be stored?

Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary for the purpose(s) for which you have given your consent, namely to provide you with the periodical updated you requested; you may unsubscribe to the newsletter service at any moment.

Will your personal data be transferred to third parties?

Your personal data will never be transferred to undetermined third parties, but exclusively transferred under the following cases:

Third party service providers

In some circumstances, we do share contact information with third party service providers, subcontractors and other associated organizations who work on our behalf, and they have previously been appointed as data processors. In these cases, we will only provide enough information that is necessary to deliver the service.

Public Authorities

Data collected may be transferred to competent Authorities, acting as data controllers, under the hypothesis of illicit activities or specific, motivated requests, besides in case of legal protection of a right as appropriate.

The rights you have relating to your information

Concerning your personal data, you have - in any moment - the right to ask Amplifon:

Access: access your personal information and to confirm the nature of the information and how it is used, besides asking for clarification about the privacy policy.

Rectification: change your personal information if it is inaccurate.

Deletion: have your personal data deleted whenever they are no longer necessary for the purpose(s) for which you have given your consent, in case of consent withdrawal or objection of data processing, in case of illicit processing, namely when there is a legal obligation regarding data erasure, or they refer to people under sixteen year of age. With respect to the consent given for the activation of the newsletter, at any time, each data subject may withdraw the consent already given, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the data processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal.

Restriction: restrict processing of your personal data if required. If you request this we still store your personal data but no further processing of it would be carried out for the period necessary until data rectification, in case of illicit processing that precludes data deletion, in case you need to legally protect your rights and the data kept by Amplifon may be useful and, finally, in case of opposition to processing and there is a dispute over the prevalence of our rights over yours.

Objection: object to our processing of your personal data in case we are processing your Information on the basis of our legitimate interests and there are no compelling legitimate grounds for our processing which override your rights and interests.

Portability: receive any personal data that we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You can ask us to transmit that personal data to you or directly to a third- party organization.

We inform you that you have the right to make a formal complaint to the Control Authority, which in Italy is the “Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali”.

This Privacy Policy will be subject to updates. Therefore, the Data Controller encourages data subjects who wish to know how their personal data are processed to regularly visit this page of the website.
