In EMEA we address our customers directly by adopting the Business-to-Consumer model through direct points of sale comprising corporate shops or shop-in-shops and corners.
- Corporate shops are managed by Amplifon staff or non-employees who work on commission on behalf of the company
- Shop-in-shop and corners are spaces managed directly by Amplifon but are located in third-party points of sale such as pharmacies, optical chains, medical clinics, where our hearing care specialists are seldom present
The acquisition of GAES
In December 2018, we made our greatest ever acquisition: GAES, the largest privately-owned specialty hearing care retailer worldwide and undisputed leader in the Spanish market. Thanks to its widely recognizable brand, and to the extensive distribution network totaling around 600 points of sale dotted across Spain, Portugal and Latin America, GAES integrates perfectly with our strategy.

Revenues for the EMEA region went from 1,389.4 million euros in 2021 to 1417.2 million euros in 2022.
EMEA's EBITDA recurring went from 408.2 million euros in 2021 to 415.5 million euros in 2022, with the margin on revenues at 29.3%.
