Sustainability Plan
Listening ahead
For us at Amplifon, listening to our stakeholders is the key to all our initiatives: listening to customers and their needs, listening to all our people and their passions, listening to local communities and future generations, listening to the regulatory framework and the environment where we operate.
In 2020, we put our commitment areas into practice by launching our first Sustainability Plan, 'Listening Ahead', for the 2021-2023 period. After three years, we have redesigned a new Sustainability Plan, more integrated with our business strategies and in consideration of the priorities and demands of our stakeholders, always consistent with our corporate culture, and highlighting our contribution to the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) more relevant to our business.

Savings are estimated on the basis of the average cost of hearing tests offered free of charge to customers.

6 Including non-employee field force personnel, excluding franchisees. The 2021 and 2022 figures for average training days for the field force have been corrected following an alignment in the calculation methodology andare in any case above the target set.
7 Performance in the global engagement survey, which is conducted every two years, was affected by the large number of acquisitions of stores and new companies during 2023, for which the integration process is still ongoing. In fact, although the number of respondents who expressed a positive opinion of the company is slightly lower than the target (88% vs. 90%), the figure remains stable compared to 2021 (88%), while there is a strongincrease in the response rate (87%), which exceeds the target set for the three-year period (85%).

9 The suppliers already evaluated in the pilot implementation of the framework in Italy are not included in this target and its baseline as they will be officially included in the roll-out programme of the evaluation frameworkstarting in 2024. In addition, key direct suppliers are defined as global and regional, while key indirect suppliers are defined as strategic/critical.
10 The amount of batteries “saved” per year is estimated based on the number of rechargeable devices sold and in circulation, the average amount of batteries used annually by a non-rechargeable device, and an averagedevice life of five years.
