Our contribution to communities

Our contribution to communities

We are engaged in social inclusion, awareness-raising, prevention and educational activities to contribute towards community wellbeing and to generate a positive and sustainable social impact over time.

Our community impact program

Being aware of the important role we play within society, in 2019 we launched We Care, our program encompassing the social impact initiatives promoted in the communities where we operate.

AMPLIFON ITALY

In 2025, Amplifon Italia S.p.A. once again donated approximately €200,000 to support various causes, including the “Una Laurea con Amplifon” project, which is aimed at high school graduates preparing to pursue a university degree in Audioprosthetics

AMPLIFON UNITED STATES

Amplifon employees supported local nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities, Minnesota (Minneapolis and Saint Paul), both financially—with over $49,000 in donations—and through nearly 2,000 hours of volunteer work. In addition, the We Care program continued to support the Minnesota Wild Deaf & Hard Of Hearing hockey team, an organization dedicated to ensuring equal playing opportunities for those with hearing impairments. The company, along with its volunteers, also committed to supporting the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) by participating in the local Walk4Hearing initiative, which drew over 70 participants; serving meals at the People Serving People homeless shelter in Minneapolis; and supporting the local organization Living Well, which provides assistance to hundreds of people with disabilities. During 2025, 35 employees of the Amplifon Group (Miracle-Ear) volunteered for Living Well.

AMPLIFON FRANCE

The partnership with the association Les Enfants sourds du Cambodge continued with two humanitarian missions to Cambodia, during which approximately 1,000 hearing aids were distributed to over 1,000 children in local communities. Four Amplifon hearing care professionals participated in the two missions. In addition, these missions supported the training of Cambodian hearing care professionals, with a view to their obtaining their technical diploma in 2026.

AMPLIFON AUSTRALIA

Throughout the year, Amplifon Australia employees volunteered at six events organized by the Amplifon Foundation as part of the Ciao Project. These events involved some of the most isolated residents at the senior care facilities participating in the project. In addition, approximately 50 Amplifon employees participated in two days of volunteer work at the RALAC Aged Care facility to renovate and build outdoor furniture and structures for the residents’ use. Finally, Amplifon Australia donated more than 170 hearing aids to people in need in Samoa and Tonga as part of an ongoing hearing aid donation program.

AMPLIFON PORTUGAL

Amplifon Portugal continued its support for Missão São Tomé, a programme that has been assisting over 120 children with hearing impairments for the past 13 years.

AMPLIFON GERMANY

In Germany, Amplifon employees expanded their Christmas gift drive to include residents of a second nursing home in Hamburg. In total, 70 seniors received personalized Christmas gifts prepared by Amplifon employees from across Germany, who delivered them in person.

Educating responsible listening

Prevention and raising awareness are our top priorities. We want to change the lives of entire communities, one person at a time. We have a social role and a 75-year-long tradition of active presence in the communities where we operate. Our role within society carries specific responsibilities, such as changing the perception of hearing care and enabling each person to live their life to the fullest, while continuing to take an active part in their own world.

Listen Responsibly Program

A programme aimed at raising awareness on hearing wellbeing and responsible listening that sees as its goal by 2028 the involvement of at least 20 million people aged between 18 and 35, including students, through digital communication campaigns, events and partnerships, such as the one with the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. To date, the programme has involved more than 25.4 million under-35. The educational path is enhanced by the ‘Listen Responsibly’ App, which engages students and citizens as pioneers of a new acoustic ecology.

Noise tracker

Thanks to the Listen Responsibly App, all members of society are involved as pioneers of a new discipline: acoustic ecology. By recording environmental noise levels, the app’s noise tracker creates an interactive map soundscape via gamification mechanisms. As of today, the App, which is available free of charge on all the main digital stores, has registered more than 19,000 users for a total of over 103,000 noise levels readings.
