Milan, Nov. 14, 2023 - Amplifon, world leader in hearing services and solutions, is supporting BookCity Milano, the city's main event dedicated to books and reading, for the third consecutive year, demonstrating its strong ties with Milan, the city where the company was founded in 1950 and where its global headquarters are located today.

The event, which was held today, was organized by the company together with the Amplifon Foundation, which is dedicated to the social inclusion of the elderly. Entitled "Let's Dream - Reflections on Dreaming Between Generations", it consisted of group readings in the nursing home in Via Pindaro in Milan, offering guests and their families the opportunity to listen to excerpts from the novel "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi. Among the readers were some of the company's volunteers.

The initiative is linked to "Ciao!", one of the main projects of the Amplifon Foundation, which was launched in Milan in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, in an attempt to overcome the prolonged isolation to which the guests of nursing homes were subjected.
