Amplifon honored with a commemorative stamp in Italy's Excellence of the Productive System and Made in Italy series
Milan, July 7th, 2026 – Amplifon, the Italian company and global leader in hearing care services and solutions, announced today that Italy's Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy has issued a commemorative stamp honoring the Company as part of its “Excellence of the Productive System and Made in Italy” series.
The stamp, released in a print run of more than 170,000 units, features the profile of a woman with the ear at its center, highlighting the importance of hearing care as an essential part of people's lives and a way to rediscover emotions, relationships and everyday experiences through sound.
The commemorative stamp was officially unveiled today at the Ministry's headquarters in Rome during an event celebrating eight new additions to the series. The ceremony was attended, among others, by Italy's Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, Undersecretary of State for Philately Fausta Bergamotto, and Amplifon Board Member Nina Cortese.
“Through these stamp issues, we recognise companies that embody the quality, manufacturing prowess and strength of ‘Made in Italy’ around the world. These are diverse industrial stories, yet they are united by a common thread: their connection to the local area, the continuity of tradition and the capacity for innovation. This is also what the stamp programme is about: a means of telling the story of the nation’s industrial identity and enshrining in the collective memory the examples of excellence that have contributed to Italy’s growth”, said Minister Adolfo Urso.
“We are honored by this recognition,” said Nina Cortese, Member of Amplifon’s Board of Directors. “This commemorative stamp celebrates our company’s history, our international growth journey and our longstanding contribution to showcasing Italian excellence around the world in a sector that has a profound impact on people’s quality of life.”
Founded in Milan in 1950, Amplifon is the world's leading hearing care retailer, serving customers through more than 10,000 locations and approximately 20,000 people across five continents.
