Ci Sentiamo Dopo – Listen Responsibly” – the awareness, prevention and education program conceived by Amplifon to spread and promote a new culture of responsible listening among young people – resumes with a new roadshow, which has been presented today in Milan during the “CSR and Social Innovations Fair” held at Bocconi University.

Begun in 2019, the goal of "Ci Sentiamo Dopo" is to turn young Italians into the ambassadors of a new acoustic ecology. After the start in early 2020 of the roadshow in schools in Genoa, the journey continued with stops, including virtual, in Manfredonia (FG), Biella, Mortara (PV), Monza and Milan.  Over the coming months schools in Pagani, Salerno, Ravenna will be visited, along with other cities throughout Italy.

The project calls for dedicated seminars and workshops to be held at middle and high schools, with the support of experts with different backgrounds and areas of expertise, the involvement of local institutions and the use of a gamification kit developed specifically by Amplifon.

Even during the months when classes were suspended, Ci Sentiamo Dopo – Listen Responsibly was able to continue to provide value to young students and teachers through  the website – which currently has more than  4,000 active users and 16,700 pageviews  - and, above all, the APPCi Sentiamo Dopo” which, thanks to  its innovative noise tracker function,  can be used to create an interactive map of cities’ acoustic ecology through gamification mechanisms.

The “Ci Sentiamo Dopo” APP – available free of charge through all the main digital stores – has already provided meaningful results in the first part of the year: more than 2,250 downloads and more than 1,800 active users. The APP and its noise tracker were launched last January at Triennale Milano as part of the Public Program of the exhibition Play! – of which Amplifon was the Hearing Experience Partner – with a view to increasing the awareness of all citizens about responsible listening through an interactive acoustic ecology map.  During the presentation, thanks to the contribution of the musician Vittorio Cosma and the sound designer Chiara Luzzana, the ways in which sound and music influence daily choices and behavior on an unconscious and emotional level were also analyzed through specific sound exercises.

"Amplifon has been present in places where young people meet and are educated, like music festivals and local schools, for several years now. We want to involve an increasing number of young people in the rediscovery of the forgotten sounds of the past and the exploration of the sounds of tomorrow”, Luca Marini, Corporate Communication & CSR Associate Director comments. “A path that leads to responsible listening and healthy hearing which, thanks also to the innovative app and noise tracker “Ci Sentiamo Dopo”, will be expanded to include not only schools, but also the main squares of our cities, ensuring that all citizens become an active part of creating a map of Italy’s acoustic ecology”.

Ci Sentiamo Dopo – Listen Responsibly” is the main initiative of Amplifon’s global corporate social responsibility program “We Care”, which embraces and promotes all the social inclusion and sustainability initiatives in the 28 countries where the company operates.
