Amplifon S.p.A. (MTA; Bloomberg ticker: AMP:IM), global leader in hearing solutions and services, announces that Ugo Giorcelli has resigned, after over 10 years with Amplifon Group, from his position as Chief Financial Officer to pursue a new professional opportunity.

Ugo Giorcelli will continue to serve as and maintain the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer and Officer Responsible for the preparation of corporate financial reports of Amplifon S.p.A. until the Board of Directors meeting already scheduled for February 28th, 2017 to approve the Consolidated Financial Statements and the draft of Amplifon S.p.A.’s Financial Statements at  December 31st, 2016.

Lastly, the Company announces that it has already identified a high-profile successor coming from a major Italian international group, who will take up the position from March 1st 2017. The name of the new Chief Financial Officer will be communicated once the confidentiality restrictions cease.
