Following the press release distributed on December 12th 2016, Amplifon S.p.A. (MTA; Bloomberg ticker: AMP:IM), global leader in hearing solutions and services, announces today the appointment of Gabriele Galli as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1st, 2017.

Gabriele Galli, who will report directly to Enrico Vita, Amplifon’s Chief Executive Officer, will oversee Administration, Finance, Planning & Control as well as Investor Relations.

Gabriele Galli joins Amplifon after 13 years at Piaggio, one of the leading players in the two-wheel motor vehicles sector, where he began in 2004 as Group Controller, then becoming CFO in 2008 and General Manager Finance in 2012. During his tenure at Piaggio, Gabriele Galli contributed to the turnaround and significant transformation of the company, dealing with extraordinary transactions, including bond issues, acquisitions and the IPO process, and successfully contributing to the integration and consolidation of the companies acquired and to the implementation of efficiency processes.

Before joining Piaggio, Gabriele Galli spent 8 years at The Boston Consulting Group, where he managed numerous projects of strategic nature, M&A and efficiency plans. Galli began his professional career at BTicino (Legrand group) in Italy and Venezuela.

Gabriele Galli received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pisa and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University, USA).
