Amplifon admitted to the cooperative compliance program with the Italian Revenue Agency
Amplifon S.p.A. has been admitted by the Italian Revenue Agency to the cooperative compliance program, implemented in the Italian tax legislation. The program, in line with international best practices, is based on the adoption of an adequate system for detecting, measuring, managing, and controlling tax risks (the "Tax Control Framework") and aims at an open and transparent relationship with the Italian Tax Authorities.
Specifically, the admission to the cooperative compliance program—which is in line with the tax strategy inspired by the principles set out in the Group's Code of Ethics — will allow Amplifon to further increase its level of certainty on significant tax matters through continue and proactive dialogue with the Italian Revenue Agency regarding situations that might trigger a tax risk. The tax risk prevention contributes to a sustainable value creation for the stakeholders.
"Joining the cooperative compliance program - comments Enrico Vita, Amplifon CEO - confirms our company's tax governance approach and the reliability of our internal control system, as well as our commitment to an open relationship with all institutions. The prevention of the tax risk is a fundamental value of our way of doing business, aiming at ethic and sustainability."
Following the admission formally notified by the Italian Revenue Agency, the company has been added in to the list of program participants maintained by the Italian Revenue Agency on its website.
