Through a network of around 11,000 points of sale in 29 Countries, Amplifon is the global leader in the hearing care retail market valued at around €14.2 billion euro and expected to grow by about 4% over the next few years as a result of demographics and increase in penetration rate.

Proven execution

Continued delivery on promises. Amplifon met its ambitious targets for 2018 on all the three key dimensions indicated during the Capital Markets day held on March 26th, 2018. Revenues at constant exchange rates were up double-digit and the Company delivered a record recurring EBITDA, further increasing the margin by 40 bps from 17.2% to 17.6% on a recurring basis.

 

 

Furthermore, since January 2016, the Company generated a Total Shareholder Return of approximately +128% outperforming key market indexes. Market capitalization increased from €1.8 billion to around €4 billion and dividends distribution increased from 0.04 euro to current proposal to be approved by the 2019 Shareholders’ Meeting of 0.14 euro per share with a payout of around 31% on the consolidated net earnings per share as reported.

Reshaping the hearing care retail around the customer. During the Capital Markets Day held on March 26th, 2018 Amplifon unveiled its strategic pillars and financial targets for the 2018-2020 period. Over the next three years, Amplifon aims to further strengthen its global leadership, positioning the Company at the forefront of innovation through three strategic pillars: strengthen leadership in core markets, innovative and distinctive customer experience, effective execution capabilities. Amplifon is committed to reshaping the hearing care retail through the innovation in the customer experience. The Company’s goal is to open new frontiers for the hearing care retail through a truly customer-centric strategy, leveraging on its unique assets: its brands, its deep relationship with its customers, its data and a new compelling innovation program, thus opening new business opportunities and creating new value streams.
